Final Post

On June 12, 2010, I moved from Fort Worth to Abilene. It was a long process, taking six years or six months, depending on how you look at it.

This post is written more than two months after the move, so my feelings about the move are poignant and teary-eyed. At the time the move was hot, frustrating and exhausting.

Since I don’t want to dwell too much in the past, here’s a parting photo: Thomas patrolling the grounds of Little House for the last time.

On a lighter note, join us on our new blog from West Texas where Thomas and I have truly lost our marbles!

Snow day project - finding vintage Pyrex

Colburn said he had an old box of dishes from his sister's estate that we needed to go through. She had inherited some stuff from their mother. He thought there might be some old Pyrex in there. As our snowday project we hauled it in from the storage shed and look what we found!

Thomas helped us unpack the box. His favorite part was rooting around in the packing paper.
